My Little Philanthropist
Olivia has been asking for a cat (what?) for her birthday. Tonight, when I asked her what she wanted, she grinned and said "money." I asked again just to be sure, and also because when she says Grammie that can also sound like money, but no, she wants cold hard cash. I asked her what she would do with it: "Church".
She's Here All Week
Liv uses our toilet paper stand as a microphone. Perhaps she was a lounge singer in her previous life.
She Takes the Cake, and Then Some
In a moment of weakness, Steve and I caved after Olivia's tortuous begging for cake. So we took a trip to County Fair where we got an angel food cake, which Olivia proudly carried through the check-out, smiling at everyone, saying "Cake, Cake!" Yes, cake indeed.

Esme-licious
We were lucky enough to babysit Esme on Saturday - the girls had a blast together. I wish I could post those pics, but there was a lot of nudity involved.
This Season's Latest Accessory
I had taken Liv's temperature earlier in the day (under her arm). Later on, she wanted to do it "own." This is her interpretation.

Mid-sentance
Liv is talking up a storm lately. One of her favorite words is "own" as in "I want to do it on my own"

Summertime Fun
Esme is super excited to swim with Liv.
So sweet.
Esme gets a kick out of the water...or maybe Liv's booty.
Seriously, she can not get any more excited.
Oh, maybe she can. What fun they had together!
A Very Cool Globe
Steve and his Dad will be working on a globe for Cool Globes in San Francisco. Liv was thrilled, and exitedly yelled "globe!" as soon as she saw it.
Independant Woman
Liv took a quick shower by herself the other day. 2 going on 12. Except for the pasta around her mouth.
There's No Place Like Home
I was out of town this week for work and I missed my little family so much. I had a physical need to kiss Liv's sweet cheeks. She happily obliged.

Happy Birthday, Steve!
Tomorrow is Steve's birthday (Happy Birthday!) and Liv really got excited to give her Dad his presents. Note her purposeful stride as she carries a gift.
