Let the Party Begin

Liv has a little birthday celebration planned at Mrs Durkin's house tomorrow (this is where she goes for part-time day care), so I baked cupcakes for the occasion. Let's hope Liv shares.

Opa!

We took a trip to Greek Fest at St. Nicholas - Liv loved the rides (well, most) and a good time was had by all.

So Mature

Liv has transitioned to the big kid swings, right along with her Dad.

Summertime in The City

The park is so fun, especially when Liv gets to go in her bikini.

My Little Philanthropist

Olivia has been asking for a cat (what?) for her birthday. Tonight, when I asked her what she wanted, she grinned and said "money." I asked again just to be sure, and also because when she says Grammie that can also sound like money, but no, she wants cold hard cash. I asked her what she would do with it: "Church".

There's Nothing Like Ice Cold Hose Water

Liv had a great time in her pool this afternoon, and was joined by her pal Mickey for a bit.

Reunited

Liv missed Babe, but it's hard to say if Babe missed the pinches and smothering.

My Beautiful Baby

She's Here All Week

Liv uses our toilet paper stand as a microphone. Perhaps she was a lounge singer in her previous life.

She Takes the Cake, and Then Some

In a moment of weakness, Steve and I caved after Olivia's tortuous begging for cake. So we took a trip to County Fair where we got an angel food cake, which Olivia proudly carried through the check-out, smiling at everyone, saying "Cake, Cake!" Yes, cake indeed.

Esme-licious

We were lucky enough to babysit Esme on Saturday - the girls had a blast together. I wish I could post those pics, but there was a lot of nudity involved.

This Season's Latest Accessory

I had taken Liv's temperature earlier in the day (under her arm). Later on, she wanted to do it "own." This is her interpretation.

According to Liv

When caught ripping up flowers - deny, deny, deny.
