Maggie's surgery went well. The doctor is nearly certain that the cyst is benign but is having it biopsied to confirm. Maggie was in a lot of pain in recovery - we are hoping that she is more comfortable by now. I drove her brother Pat to school, who is in first grade. He is the neatest little boy. When he got in the car, he said in a shaky voice "I already miss Maggie" but then talk turned to her welcome home party that he is planning and he was so excited. He plans of banners, balloons, flowers and a rainbow, because she loves rainbows.
This afternoon I told Olivia that Maggie was out of surgery and that it went well. She said: "She was brave, just like I knew she'd be."
