Softball Season

The Fisher softball season has started, and Liv was so excited to act as a cheerleader for Steve's team.

Make Up

Yet another case of me stumbling upon Liv's things, and my heart melting. Last weekend Liv and I got ready together, and these were in her arsenal - baby cologne, lotion and an eye shadow brush caked with lipstick.

Class Picnic

A group shot was near impossible - too many distractions!

We set out to make suns for a class treat, which quickly morphed into smiley faces when the cookie cutter wasn't cutting it.

Olivia has finished her first year of preschool - so hard to believe! She's met a lot of new friends, and seems so much older to me than she was last September. This fall, she'll be heading into 4 yr old preschool as a big sister - how great is that!

Lucky Duck

Yesterday I picked Olivia up from Durkins, where she had spent her time outside with her pals and popsicles. We came home and Olivia promptly picked up where she left off, some sprinkler time and another popsicle with her friend Ellie.

Summer...

What a perfect day for some pool time. Liv was all too eager to jump in, and I think spent a total of 6 hours in her suit.

First Birthday Fiesta

The party has almost ended, the girls are still obsessed with the balloons.

A little hide-n-seek with Uncle Marc.

Liv spots him!

There's always fun to be had with Uncles around (His birthday is today, Happy Birthday Scott!)

Pin the mustache on Emmett...

Post cake and pinata, Emmett is spent.

All ten-or-so kids had a crack at the pinata.

Wherever Chauncey was, Liv wasn't far behind.

Cake! Emmett was generous enough to share, or maybe he was just the right height for sharing.

He thinks it's hilarious to wipe frosting in his Mom's hair...it is!

Who's next...?

Genevieve, Hailey, Esme and Olivia all boogied to the music.

Hams. All three of them.

Esme couldn't figure out where the stairs were to the pool...we were not about to show her.

Emmett was an adorable guest of honor at his first birthday celebration this Saturday. It was a gorgeous day filled with family and friends, and lots of little tykes running around.

Alley Hockey

Olivia has been spending a lot of time in the alley, with our neighborhood gatherings to watch the Blackhawks.

This Weekend

We'll be celebrating his (belated) 1st birthday. Oh Emmett, you had us at your first hiccup.

Patriotism

Olivia's always been a bit of a patriot, with her nearly July 4th birthday and saluting the flag while she wasn't yet 2.

A Spring Sunday

Olivia was delighted that our neighbor John lent her their tent. It made for a perfect spot to snack, lounge, and "suntan" hence why Liv has pulled her shirt up.

A Lover, Not a Fighter

Oh, does Olivia love. Like no other. She runs up to us for tight hugs, squeals with delight when we have a group hug, and will often slip in a kiss when we're helping her get dressed. A recent favorite past time is to slow dance with Dad. That precious face, filled with bliss.

Young Mom

Olivia loves bringing her "kids" with her to Durkins. She wanted the glasses to be a "serious" mom.

Hideaway

Olivia loves hanging out in her little Rose Petal Cottage, especially with a snack and Dad.

Mothers Day

Olivia and Grace, with their pets.

We celebrated Mother's Day at both Aimee's and Nana and Papa's. It was a wonderful day, filled with family and laughs. Lots of laughs around Esme saying "hipster."

Beverly Breast Cancer Walk

Liv and I did the Beverly Breast Cancer walk again this year, with Steve joining in. What a beautiful way to start Mothers Day!

Happy 65th Birthday Grampie!

All of the usual suspects gathered to celebrate Grampie's birthday. Liv and Esme made themselves extra useful by helping to blow out candles and open presents.
