Happy 2nd Birthday, Emmett!

Emmett sure was proud of his balloons.

But I did a poor job of tying them and off they flew...

We tried for a group shot (soon to be 6 babes...maybe as soon as this week!)

 Yep.

Lucky boy, his Mom and Dad got him a cool new bike.

Our dude, doing his own thing...

What a special day we had, celebrating Emmett's 2nd birthday. The theme was a Mexican Fiesta, with lots of delicious snacks, food from la Fiesta and a tres leches cake that was quite tasty. Emmett loved all of his gifts but I think his favorite was the golf set, which I believe he tucked into bed with him tonight. A wonderful evening for the sweetest guy. We love you Emmett Joseph!

Woot Woot for Baby Einstein!

I Totally Agree, Leo

Oh Man

Olivia's quest for a dog continues, as she mimics one in sharing a snack with Leo.

The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree

A special trip to the library to get Olivia her very own library card!

She was so proud, and picked out some books for herself, and one for Leo!

Like The Sand in an Hourglass...

Where does the time go? Leonardo is now 9 months old. He weighs 22.5 lbs and is measuring 30.5 inches. He began crawling a couple of weeks ago, and it's become his preferred mode of transportation (sometimes over me carrying him!). He loves all things sharp, dangerous and plugged in. The greater the risk of injury, the greater the appeal. Favorite foods are almost any veggie (except beets) and he'll never turn down a banana. His most favorite thing in the world is his big sis Olivia. Sweet, sweet boy.

Hockey

 Uncle Marc!

Steve put together an indoor hockey league, and Olivia and I went to watch one of their games. What a treat. Olivia was so excited, impressed and overwhelmed that she couldn't handle her emotions so she kept on putting her head in her hands and saying "you've got to be kidding me". Also, she was a big fan of the music, yelling, AC/DC!! when they came on the speakers. What made it even more special was that her Uncle Marc was playing, along with a couple of neighbors and Steve's friends.

Sweet as Pie

My guy Leo, so sweet.

Fashion Style

"Mom, let's have a fashion style"

Like this, Mom?

Olivia loves to dress up, take pictures, play hair salon, etc etc. So cute and so girly. She calls it "fashion style" and most recently tried to get Leo involved (against his will, obvi).

A Budding Friendship

Following in his big sister's footsteps, Leo seems to be a fan of all things canine.

Easter

 Before church.

 Leo and his fave ball.

Strawberry cupcakes and mocha brownies

Lemon raspberry muffins and cheddar scallion biscuits

Sweet Monica with O and L!

Leo was enthralled with Monica - looks like she's telling him to back off here.

Aunt Dorth brought Olivia and Leo Minnie and Mickey ears from her visit to see Anna Marie at Disney, Olivia's were special Princess ears - so cute.

We had such a wonderful Easter -  we began with brunch with Grammie, Grampie, Auntie KR and Maureen, and then went over to Nana and Papa's for a delicious turkey dinner. The Easter Bunny was very generous to Olivia and Leo!

Eggcellent

 Representing wolfies! (thanks, Grampie)

We colored one or three dozen eggs today, using glitter from Auntie Aimee for some of them. Olivia's approach was much more mature than in years past.
