Skating Party

This was Leo's first skating party. I was a bit nervous for him, picturing him getting flattened by a 4th grader but he held his own. Which mostly involved hanging with the ladies and stealing ice, and scooters.

School Days

Hot temps prompted an out of uniform week. Olivia was so excited.

Speaking of excited, Leo could barely contain himself.

What kills me abt this pic is his little fist, you can see it clenched in excitement. Such a buddy.

Back to School Dinner

Again, with the sour face. She's done with pictures. We had a special dinner on Sunday to commemorate the start of school. Olivia requested homemade pizza, and we had salad and chocolate cake.

A Crystal Ball

Olivia was not happy with me taking a picture of her (note: she was in "cleaning" clothes to help Steve in the garage). I feel that this is a glimpse into her teen future.

Minocqua

Leo loved to go in the lake with me off of the boat.

Thumbs up for climbing on pool tables in bars, says Leo

 Sunrise just after 5:30 am

The Thirsty Whale, or as Liv calls it the "Salty Seal"

Leo was delighted to get a chance to sit on a motorcycle.

 Doing their swan dive dance

This captures their personalities so much.

Seriously, this trip could not have been more perfect for Leo. Baseball and fishing? Heaven.

 "My boys"

Loved it. Even Cordelia went on it.

Esme, Vincent, Quinlan, Cecilia, Hailey, Liv and Gus. I think our count was 22 kids 8 and under.

I love being able to share this  27(?) yr tradition with Liv and Leo. They look forward to it all year. We are so sad this year is over - it went by way too fast. A lot of laughs, great weather, and so many wonderful memories.
