Ears Pierced

Olivia loves herself some jewels (I would guess she got that from Auntie KR) so it's no surprise that her favorite clip-ons are from the same Auntie!

Keeping Up Appearances

Oh boy I hope my pals don't spot me now. Here I am, in my leisure suit, and I'm playing with a baby horse!

But it's my favorite guy, you see. All of the right angles for my aching gums. Wait. Is someone coming?

Do you think they saw me?

I think they saw me.

Hey, there you are! Look, I don't have much time to talk. Too busy being tough playing with these dog toys.

Tough stuff, I tell you.

Maybe I should climb in the dog bed. No baby toys for me! Just rough and tumble dog stuff!

Sweet Girls

Baby To Be

 Delicious cake from Deerfields.

Auntie Aimee brought the girls into the ballroom to reminisce about all of our weddings.

The ladies! Perhaps Laura is carrying the 10th lady?

A little bit of hide and seek.

A little bit of peaches and cream.

Grammie hosted a lovely shower for the glowing Mother-to-be, Laura. What a perfect day. We can't wait to meet baby!

These Faces!

They remind me so much of each other!

Mr. Sweets

 Look at that tum!

Dress Up

I'm glad (and surprised) I had the hindsight to pack away old clothes for my future children. When Olivia saw all of the tops, purses and jewelry, she was thrilled. What 4 yr old wouldn't be?
Note: boots were part of an old Halloween costume.

Bathing Babe

Our Guy

Oh Leo! You are all too familiar with Hope Children's Hospital. Sweet guy had to spend a couple of nights there this week, due to a very high fever, strange rash and elevated white blood count. He is doing so much better - and we joke that he's getting a childhood of sickness in before he turns one. Here he is,peering out the window as Auntie Aimee holds him. Leo left with a big time crush on nurse Whitney, having locked eyes and patted her cheek while she drew blood.

The End of an Era

This was hanging in Area 3's weight room.

John did a great job of managing Uncle Bob the "bridezilla."

Cousins! And to think - there are 10 missing.

Siblings.

Perhaps Grammie has something up her sleeve other than a camera.

On Sunday we celebrated Uncle Bob as he retired from the Chicago Police Department after 38.5 years. It was no surprise how adored he was, and quite obvious that he will be missed by many. We really enjoyed meeting his colleagues and hearing their stories. He was described as being a noble person, a kind friend and a hard worker - but equally a fantastic prankster. We are so proud of you, UB!

Sibs

I Thought She Liked Cats

"Olivia, quick - there's a black cat in our backyard"

Not quite sure of her plan with the bat.

Note: In addition to her raincoat and a bag of miscellaneous items, Olivia felt it necessary to bring her slide whistle. I mean, wouldn't *you* if you dreamed in cartoon?

HBD, KRC

The girlies were thrilled to be outside (Olivia squeezed on Leo's shades).

Who doesn't love a duck whistle?

I tried to get the girls with Uncle Mike, but the elder two could not stop eating.

"and there once was a magical fairy named Bea"

 Awww yeah!

We all gathered at Grammie and Grampie's to celebrate Katie Rose's birthday -unfortunately there are no pics of the birthday girl herself, but of course plenty of the kids. Happy Birthday, Rosie - we love you!
