Off the Charts

Olivia and Leo have both had their annual check ups, with Olivia being off the charts in height (as she has always been) and Leo at 88th percentile. For Olivia's, we were in the exact same room as her 2 week old check up. I will never forget the hot pink terry cloth jumper she wore, and my Mom helping me as she began to cry and I wasn't yet comfortable enough to nurse her in a public place.

Filthy

I spent some time at two different warehouses on Friday getting things ready for the Boston exhibit. I have had to familiarize myself with forklifts, pallet jacks and lift gates among other things. I am always surprised at how filthy I get.

Baking

On Sunday I made 5 times of muffins and some peanut butter cookies, the plan being to freeze them and bring them on vacation for everyone to have for breakfast. Leo was fascinated and was a (surprisingly) big help.

Kicks

I have been feeling this baby's kicks for a few weeks now, and it is the best thing in the world. To be honest, I did not think I would ever get to be in this position again. But here I am, and I feel so lucky.

Poor guy

We felt with an epic ear infection for Leo for the past two weeks. Little buddy is finally on the mend. Two rounds of antibiotics, two different kinds of ear drops, and a switch to a new ENT did the trick.

The Dude is Three

After Avery's we stopped by "Jimmy's" where we were treated to steaks, corn and potatoes.

And then Leo slept a sound through-the-night sleep, one of which we haven't had for a few days due to a painful combo of swimmers ear/ear infection.

Double Birthday

Avery was a smiley peach for the festivities.

Leo and Christian, who constantly tells his Dad that Leo is his "first best buddy" and his Dad is his second.

On Leo's birthday we celebrated Avery's first birthday - there was very little confusion on Leo's part (thankfully). The kids had such a great time.

Sweetie @ 1D

Olivia didn't have any One Direction clothes, so I improvised a dress, she loved it.

 A sea of people.

Right after they came out. I could not believe the screams that came out of her.

Some kind ladies adorned Liv w/ a glowstick and a light up balloon. Overall, it was a hard concert w/ the heat and the crowds. Even Olivia was struggling.

Sneaky Pete

Leo comes down from his nap quietly, and loves to sneak up and scare me.

Birthday Celebrations

You wouldn't know by Olivia's excitement that this is her third birthday celebration. Friend, her actual bday, and family. Celebrating yourself never gets old, does it?

I told Olivia how lucky she was to have all of her cousins together, and the amount of girl cousins she has. The best!

Leo and Iggy may be this year's Beo. "Liggy" perhaps?

I regret not taking more pictures of the party. Lots of fun was had by all of the kids. A huge thank you for all of the contributing sides, sweets and appetizers.

4th of July

 Go-cart rides!

 Gianlucca and Leo

Liv and "Ammie"

Olivia's Birthday

These two were so good together.

The goal was to "shoot raccoons!"

A special cake from Alliance Bakery for Liv.

On Olivia's birthday list was a "purse with a long strap with a picture of Babe on it" so Leo was kind enough to get it for her.

This is Leo and Liv on her birthday morning. Both exhausted from 3rd and 4th festivities.

For Liv's birthday we hung out with Esme, Emmett and Evie. Water gun fights, a trip to the pool, homemade pizza and cake. All in all, a great day for a 7 year old.

 Good photobomb Liv.
