It Will Never Get Old

They love it (for now).

I'll admit, Olivia can be a bit heavy handed in the affection department.

But mostly Leo is just tickled to the core to have her around.

Really, there is nothing better in life.

As Snooki Says

"Party's here!" At least that's what I hear in my head, when I look at this gathering of motley characters.

I don't know how we arrived at the intersection of longest and bedtime routine, but here we are. On a good night it's 45 minutes, but almost always goes past an hour. Stories, books, routines, bedtime skits, and just added: massages with powder treatments. We've been working to scale it back by eliminating one activity every couple of days, with the goal being a book and a story - that's it. Here are some pics of a powder treatment gone wrong, as well as quotes from last night.

Olivia: "Mom, a crush is when you see a handsome boy and they become your boyfriend."

Then, after wiggling around in bed:

"why do wedgies always come to me? Maybe they think I'm a party house or something."

Note: It's obvious that this is all in relation to a certain 19 lb tub o' love slumbering next door, hence why we've made these concessions - but now, we're ready to shave it down.

S.D.C.

It's ok, Sweet Bea. Olivia had (still has?) the sometimes double chin. It just kinda shows up when it wants to, a mind (or chin!) of it's own.

Leo + Bea

This was when Leo had just noticed Bea: "hey, there's a similarly sized person next to me!"

He then proceeded to try to flip over for a better angle.

We moved them upstairs for some crib time.

Delicious Bea doesn't seem to mind.

Oh my heart.

It's All An Act

Leo feels he needs to be manly, and refuse the affections of his older sister. But the second she leaves his side, he squirms and squawks for her attention.

Twirler Extraordinaire

Olivia got a legit ribbon twirler from Auntie KR for Christmas.

It's as if she has done this in a prior life. You know, when she was Angela in the bird sanctuary. Now that I think about it, this is all starting to fit together.

A Man and His Meals

What can I say? The dude likes to eat. Except now, we've added solids: carrots, peas, green beans, bananas, sweet potatoes, and just tonight: avocados!
