Even More Tasty

 My sweet, sweet helper. I broke off a piece of the dough pictured here so that she could make her own pretzel. She narrated the entire thing, as if it were filmed. Every step she made "this will make it even more tasty." One particular step was when she put finger holes in the dough: "the salt will hide here, making it even more tasty"

 After poaching, before baking.


 A little egg wash and sea salt. And a not so little hand. 


Olivia is obsessed with soft pretzels - so we made these as a special treat for her.  They were pretty fantastic - we used the smitten kitchen recipe.
