He also said to me, as if I was the last person to know: "you know mom, most everyone turns into zombies."

Back in the Day
Leo told me that before he knew us, he was Santa Claus. "I got stuck in so many chimneys." "Were you married?" I asked. "Nope. No kids, either."

School Days
Olivia came home and was reviewing the subjects and predicates of sentences. Leo recited the alphabet, finishing with a hearty "rock and roll, b*****s!"

Wipeout
Olivia and her buddy Ellie on the Wipeout. Olivia looks all of 4 with her scared face.
Terrified.
A hint of a smile, the ride is slowing down.
Bucket Boys
Last weekend was the culminating show for Redmoon's Sonic Boom performance with the Bucket Boys. It was such a great opportunity for them, and such a treat for the communities they performed in.
Soccer Saturdays
Leo is probably the biggest fan of Saturday mornings, he loves the kids, the snacks, the dead cicadas.

Like Sister like Brother
Leo now wants to dress up as a zombie or Michael Jackson. Following in big sis's footsteps.

Sweeties
Leo is growing up too quickly, I think. But it's moments like these that I realize that he is still my little boy. Those cheeks, those lips. His hair in the back that is always spiky from him twirling it.
Sometimes I call Olivia "beauty", and she loves it. She too seems like she just started jr high instead of 2nd grade. But again, quiet moments like this where she still has her sense of wonder and excitement make me see the 7 yr in her.
Birthday Wonder
They love, love the train.
Leo is on a big carb kick lately.
I was so close to letting them splash in the fountain. But what stopped me is my overwhelming fear of wet concrete and someone hitting their head. Sorry guys. Plus, ice cream!

Cool Globes Boston
This globe was a huge hit at the opening.
Mayor Menino addressing the crowd
Bobby with Nancy Schon, the artist behind the "make way for ducklings" sculpture in the Boston Common. She is so kind and one of Cool Globe's biggest fans. They are standing in front of her new globe.
We were lucky enough to have two bloggers in Boston - 12 yr olds Dylan and Liam. Here they are with Congressman Joe Kennedy.
The exhibit opening was a few weeks ago, and I feel like it has taken me that long to regroup. This was one of our more popular openings, everyone had a great time.
Hams, the Whole Lot
Mom, this is what Harry Styles does. He can't take a serious picture.
What a goof. Please note the container of bribes in his hand. "Mom i don't yike bow ties. They're for models, not me."
I fear he may have resurrected the closed eye smile here.
