Cousins!

Lots going on - near impossible to get them all on the same couch, much less looking the same way.

We got all of the kiddos together for little Saturday gathering - what a treat to see everyone. Leo especially loved it, gave him more limbs to chew on with his teething gums.

My Boy!

Shedd!

What better way to spend a chilly Saturday than indoors marveling at the ocean's wonders.

Bea + Leo

The love affair (albeit one sided).

Toy Teether

Leo loves the toy we got him in Mexico

He does not like when we take it away!

You Had Me At "thhhsss"

One of my pal's favorite new things is making a raspberry sound with his lips. So cute, (except when it's 4:00 am).

Divine

Olivia loves to help me cook - and I've found that when she does, she's more likely to eat what we've made. The other night it was enchiladas - and everything Olivia tasted was "divine" - the sauce, a bit of a green onion, all while she washed it down with almond milk.

Hi There

Buds

Leo can't get enough of Olivia, and I'd like to think the feeling is mutual.

Presies

 Aw Ma you shouldn't have!

 But I'm glad you did.

I do not understand the Mexican wrestler masks and I understand them even less in princess form.

Lots to find in Playa del Carmen and the Cancun airport for a 4 yr old, not too much for a feisty snicklefritz. Everything goes in his mouth and I don't really trust street vendor craftmanship.

Delicioso

The Hungry Lion

This is what Leo ate for 5 days - bags upon bags of milk, rice cereal, pears, peaches, sweet potatoes, peas and chicken. Not pictured: yogurt. The dude likes to eat, as evidenced by his size.

Hola

The tranquility pool - i.e. no star friends hassling you to play bingo.

We loved Playa del Carmen - what a great little area - we went there twice - once for a good glass of wine and some appetizers and then again on our last night for dinner.

I realize there are a lot of beach pictures. But I just couldn't stop taking them. I took over 200 pictures, most of them of the water.

Steve and I decided to bring back some shells for Olivia, so Steve made it is mission to find her some gems, and he sure did.

There is a barbie, or a fairy, named Mariposa that Olivia loves - so I took this for her.

The moon on our last night - it was so yellow!

Steve and I went to Riviera Maya for a long weekend, and it was so wonderful. The Iberostar Grand was gorgeous, and the scenery was breathtaking. My previous vacations to Mexico were when I was young(er) and Senior Frogs was on the itinerary. It was so nice to come back and experience the beauty with Steve, who had never been and loved it. Olivia was so excited to see us when we got back(Leo was sleeping). Some of her observations: "wait, is it summer all of the time in Mexico" and "wait, do they speak spanish in Mexico? Guess what, Emmett speaks spanish" and a real seal the deal on the guilt: "how about next time you guys go I can come with and it'll be more fun."
