Olivia's cold has been getting better, but it is the cough that causes problems. It keeps her up at night, and usually results in her coughing until she gets sick. We all needed a full nights sleep (and to not be doing laundry at 3:00 am), so I put Vicks Vapor Rub on her feet. I'd read about it online as a remedy to stop coughing. Olivia was so confused - and at first reluctant - until I told her it was "dream cream" and would help her have sweet dreams about Santa and his reindeer. She loved that, and even loved the way it smelled. Fast forward to 6:15 this morning - she slept through the night, for the first time in days.
Also - yesterday Liv was at her Nana and Papa's, and was admiring the manger scene under the tree. She pointed out Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus and when she pointed to the three men and said "and those are the three stooges."

Totally works - also is great when they are congested and can't breathe really well. Great for little ones too - put it on Maddie all the time!
