Land O' Lakes

This is some serious cuteness.

Liv and Esme bestowing some affection on the welcoming gnome.

It was cold!

These faces completely capture their personalities. Steve calls them knuckle-head and meatball, respectively.

The main house.

Liv is really enjoying the swing.

Completely natural pose for Liv. And Steve, for that matter.

Grampie pumped well water for Babe and Olivia, who took turns drinking.

Two blond ladies, a gorgeous day.

These two eagles were fighting over a fish. Fascinating!

Everywhere Babe went, so did Liv.

Liv even took a dip in the lake - despite frigid temps!

Esme and Liv loved this guy.

This is the "crow's nest" where we slept, with Liv going to bed before everyone. Props to her - she wasn't scared for a moment.

Steve and I were lucky enough to bring Liv up early to see Lowenwood in Land O' Lakes. These pictures do not it justice, though. About 45 miles north of Minocqua, it is pristine wilderness. Deer sightings are a dime a dozen, and in years past we've even seen deer and fox fighting over food. Olivia loved every inch of the place.
